Overview
UC San Diego’s School of Biological Sciences advances discovery in the foundational life sciences while applying research to improve human health, protect the environment, and strengthen the economy. The school offers doctoral, undergraduate, and contiguous BS/MS programs. Its academic departments span Cell and Developmental Biology, Molecular Biology, Ecology, Behavior and Evolution, and Neurobiology, reflecting broad strengths from molecular mechanisms to ecosystems and brain science.
